Gaston Farm Rd Equestrian Center is a place where horse lovers of any age, expertise level, or ability, can come for relaxation, fun and lessons.
Located on Hwy 9 – 1.5 miles off I-77, at exit 65, approx. 20 miles south of Rock Hill SC, less than 30 miles south of Fort Mill and Tega Cay SC, 45 miles south of Charlotte, NC and 35 miles south of Pineville, NC; we are a 50 acre horse facility with pasture and wooded trails. We have a 16 stall barn, an outdoor and indoor concrete wash bay with hot and cold water, a 150×200 size lighted arena, picnic area, a lounge with refrigerator, microwave and full bath.

- English and Western Riding Lessons
Available Monday through Saturday. We specialize in beginner through advanced. Horseback riding lessons change constantly to keep up with the rider’s progress. Safety and horsemanship are included in each session. You may receive instructions on our horses, yours or both.

- Camp Geronimo
A 5-day horse camp experience tailored to the student’s age and interests. Students enjoy horse riding instruction, art, games, and horse handling. Hands on education will teach the foundations for horsemanship with solid, safe teaching from our caring staff.

- Boarding Our facility offers 12×12 stalls, or pasture. Stall boarding includes hay, grain and water twice daily. Each stall is cleaned twice daily. Group turn out daily, weather permitting. Pasture boarding includes grain daily, and hay as needed. Water troughs are cleaned twice weekly or as necessary.

- Open Horse shows
These shows draw people from North and South Carolina and provide children and adult riders from our community a forum to showcase their skills and earn points on the competitive circuit. The knowledge gained here will develop discipline, build self-confidence, teach horsemanship and promote sportsmanship. The show is managed mainly by volunteers and is an opportunity for educating the horse, rider and spectators. Take a look at the variety of show classes we offer, 2017 Open Horse Show Sheet. - 4-H Horse Club
We meet on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm. Open to ages 5-19. Under 9 must be accompanied by parent. Horse not required! See 4-H Horse Club flyer for more details.
